Position Overview
The Power BI / Data Reporting Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining operational dashboards while ensuring accurate data visualization from the company’s centralized reporting environment.

This role focuses on ensuring that data from this environment is properly structured, visualized, and accessible through Power BI dashboards used by internal stakeholders.

The position is execution-focused, working closely with the internal data insights leadership and data engineering teams to maintain reliable reporting infrastructure.

Unlike traditional business analyst roles, this position focuses on building and maintaining reporting systems rather than interpreting business insights or presenting strategic analysis.

Core Responsibilities

Power BI Dashboard Development
Develop and maintain dashboards that support operational reporting across the organization.
Responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards connected to the central data lake
Configuring visualizations and reporting views for internal stakeholders
Ensuring data is displayed accurately across operational reports
Supporting real-time and scheduled reporting needs

Data Validation & Reporting Accuracy
Ensure reporting outputs accurately reflect the underlying data environment.
Responsibilities include:
Validating data flows from Microsoft Fabric into Power BI
Identifying discrepancies or inconsistencies in reporting outputs
Maintaining clean and reliable reporting structures

Reporting Infrastructure Support
Support the stability and scalability of the organization’s reporting environment.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with data engineers to support reporting pipelines
Maintaining data relationships used within reporting models
Assisting with improvements to reporting architecture
Ensuring dashboards remain stable as additional systems are integrated
Ensuring reporting logic aligns with underlying data sources

Data Integration Support
Assist with expanding reporting capabilities by integrating new data sources.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the connection of additional systems to the central data environment
Integrating data from external operational platforms and marketing tools
Ensuring new data sources are accurately reflected within reporting dashboards
These integrations support initiatives such as lead attribution tracking, operational performance monitoring, and safety analytics.

Reporting Maintenance & Optimization
Maintain the reliability and performance of reporting dashboards.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring dashboard performance and refresh schedules
Optimizing report performance and data refresh processes
Maintaining organized reporting structures and documentation
Supporting ongoing improvements to reporting systems as business needs evolve

Tools & Systems
Candidates should have experience working within modern Microsoft data and reporting ecosystems.
